What is PEB (and EPC) in Belgium?

PEB in Wallonia and Brussels, and EPC in Flanders, is an official certificate that rates a home’s energy performance. On ImmoAgg, the PEB/EPC badge reflects the class from the source listing — always verify the official certificate before buying.

Why PEB/EPC matters when buying or renting

Energy class affects comfort, bills, and often perceived value. Display rules are regional in Belgium; a valid certificate is usually required for sale or rent under local rules.

Classes A to G (overview)

Regional scales differ, but A (or better) generally signals strong performance and G weak performance. Do not blindly compare a Walloon PEB, Brussels PEB, and Flemish EPC without the regional framework.
