Prime location in Mechelen city centre ♡, 10-minute walk to the train station with direct connections to Antwerp, Brussels and Leuven (±20–25 minutes), and easy access to Brussels Airport. Access to a shared study & lounge space (with desks) and a small terrace. Good to know: – Mid-term stays: typically 4 to 10 months. (longer stays upon request) – Suitable for interns, academics and young professionals (traineeship) – Single occupancy – Quiet, non-smoking environment – Not for tourist rental – Temporary registration in the Foreigners Register may be possible for eligible temporary stays (e.g. internship, study or temporary academic work), subject to prior approval. ! Availability note ! Shorter stays (minimum 2 weeks) are temporarily possible (on request): A minimum notice of 2 days before check-in is required. From September onwards, the standard minimum stay is 4 months. Rental process: - After booking through the platform, a structured rental agreement with additional terms and conditions applies. - A security deposit is required prior to check-in. By default, it is paid directly to the landlord. Payment through the booking platform is available upon request. - After the initial booking, rent is paid monthly and is due each time 10 days before the start of the next rental month. - Applicants may be asked to provide additional information before confirmation.
